Haven't been blogging for quite a while. Too lazy. Grr. But I felt like blogging today, after the Inter-Hall Games. I had 2 matches today. Softball and basketball. Although I didn't get to play at all for both games, but I had fun supporting my teammates and after today, I have 3 more idols. Haha. Try to guess who.
The day started off with basketball. Francine drove us to the SRC for our match. Did some warm up shoots and stuff, but that was all for me. We were up against Hall 12. Honestly speaking, they weren't all that great. Although we lost the match, I felt that the team really came back from behind during the 2nd half. And I'm really proud of them. I mean, all our basketball players were not around and we only had the netball players to play for us. The scoreline was actually quite low. 9-5. Haha. Considering that we were down 7-1 at first and we came back at 9-5, I'm really proud of the players. They gave their all! I remembered seeing them throwing themselves in front of the ball to intercept, especially Shiqi. And Rain was on court all the time. Haha. Kudos to her. Running all the way and even playing softball later too!
Softball was next. Again, had some warm up throws and bats and there I was relegated to the sidelines again. Haha. Softball was really interesting. During the first inning, we were down about 6-2 or something. By the 2nd inning, we drew level at 9-9, and all because of the max of 7 runs in one innings, or else we could have scored more. And the match ended with a score of 12-9! Woohoo! We won! Seeing Karen slide to base and getting herself all muddy and smelly was very funny. Even the taunting was hilarious, but if I were them, I'll be like super pissed. Haha. Rain got hit by the ball on the head. That's what I call Karma. Haha. Ruixin was damn good today! She made really good pitches and thats how we won! Because the other hall didn't want to swing. So we can only depend on Ruixin to strike them out. Which she did! Woohoo! I really can feel for Ruixin. The stress she was feeling. Come on, all eyes were on her! I cannot imagine if I was the pitcher. Phew. Well, I shall just continue with my pitching training and just do my best! Haha. Though I'm not exactly looking forward to my first match pitch. Haha. Opps.
Oh well, after these 2 matches, more trainings and carolling coming up. Ah! Give me more time!!
