Yesterday was a great day! Wootz! First, an amazing lunch wirh my grandma, aunts and cousins and cousin bf. Went for Korean BBQ at Haw Par Villa. My fave!! I really loved the grilled meat and you wrap the burning hot meat in veg anf with their special chilli! I'm drooling at the thought of it again! Ever since my trip to Korea, that has always been my fave korean food. Ate a lot. As usual and did I mention that the side dishes are free flow? So it's like tonnes of side dishes plus main dishes. The best part? I paid 0 cents! Haha. As usual, my aunts treated us to great lunch! Actually it's kinda like celebrating Audrey Jie's recovery from the operation. It's like after so long, she finally can eat normally!
Of course food itself will not satisfy me that much lah! I did something that I have not done in a LONG while. Haha. That is to queue. e4 should know what I mean. Though I didn't queue as long as I used to, but I queued for quite a while. Started queuing at 2pm. The thing starts at 6pm lah. To some, it's very early. To some it's ok. To some it's late. Well, considering I used to queue in the wee hours of the morning (Yes, I do mean like 4, 5 am), queuing for 4 hours should be quite a mild move from me. For those who are wondering, what am I queuing for, let me let you in on the secret. I was queuing for the SHE Play Qing Gong Fun Party tickets. Haha. Apparently, luckily the lunch ended early for me cause if we queued at 3pm instead, we might not have gotten the tickets and we would have wasted our time queuing. I don't know to say is it good luck that it is free seating. Good, in a sense that I was so at the back of the queue, if it was seated, I would probably have gotten horrible seats and I don't like horrible concert seats!! But bad in a sense that it would mean more queuing on the actual day! Gosh. The thing starts at 8pm, entry starts at 6.30pm. From my experience, fans will start queuing from morning or even the previous night! Half of me wants to go early to get good seats, but my companions are not that fanatic and would probably think I'm crazy. Haha. And 3 person queuing is such an odd number. Cannot play daidee. Haha! And it would also mean that we would have to settle dinner while queuing. Haiz. I don't know. But whatever, for now just let me soak in the happiness that I got the tickets and will see them in action on Sat!
Thats not all, after getting the tickets, we had dinner at J8, some Shilin, some tako pachi and some food from the mini food fest. And guess what? Jas made me walk from J8 to serangoon gardens. I almost died lah! My bag was heavy, it was raining and my foot hurts! And we did that just to kill time. Haha. Cause we were going to have a small ktv session at 10pm, but we finished our thing by like 7+ 8pm. So had 2 long hours. She didn't want to shop, so she decided to walk to Serangoon Gardens. What a great idea. Haiz. Finally KTV-ing after such a long time. And it's nice to hear Ngian again. Haven't heard her sing KTV for a long time. Really missed it.
That's all for Sunday. A fulfilling day and I gained a lot! Though the queuing was not as fun as last time. Haha. Queuing with e4 is a totally different experience. At least the long hours didn't seem that long. And for this one, I went unprepared. No umbrella, no nothing. So I was standing in the scorching sun until Jas reached. And the 2 of us, apart from talking, ended up listening to our own mp3. Miss those daidee days. Haha. Anyway, hopefully after Sat, I will have the time and energy and inspiration to blog about the SHE experience. :) So looking foward to Saturday!
